and for all of you cynical bumfaces out there, who litter my world with facebook groups and status' like "Ohh so Kony is a major dickhead basically. so yer let's all make him famous and boost his ego just a little more." and "UGANDAN EXPERTS EVERYWHERE! Knew nothing yesterday but everything today?!"

Allow me to patronisingly pat you on the head, and explain the following to you in my best nursery-nurse voice;

Instead of fighting Kony with guns and angry petitions; some genius' are gonna make him a celebrity. The point of the campaign is that the world has no idea about him. And the campaign is working. 4.2 million people have watched the video today alone. So no, we were not 'experts' yesterday, but we know about him today. And when enough people know about the issue, the western governments are much more likely to stop ignoring the mass child abduction. We're going to defeat him with fame.

But thank you anyway for your input. At least you were helping spread the word.

P.S. don't worry, I do not plan to use this blog as a ranting/political mechanism. I just wanted to get it out of my system and then go back to writing about butterflies. Sowwy :(
